I hold deep respect for the significance of Anzac Day — a time for remembrance, reflection, and gratitude. Each year on April 25th, the country pauses to honour the courage and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who served during World War I, and all those who have served since.
Anzac Day is a heartfelt reminder of the values of bravery, mateship, and resilience that continue to shape our identity as new zealanders. Across the country, we see dawn services, moments of silence, and the wearing of poppies as powerful symbols of remembrance.
Although we do not currently have Anzac-themed cards at Del Cards NZ, we believe in the power of a handwritten message to connect, comfort, and honour. Whether it’s a quiet note to a friend who’s served, a letter to a family member sharing your reflections, or simply reaching out to say "I'm thinking of you" — these gestures, however small, carry great meaning.
This Anzac Day, we encourage you to take a moment to remember.
Send love, share memories, or hold space for someone who may need it.
The spirit of Anzac is one of unity and support — and sometimes, a few sincere words can mean more than we realise.
Lest we forget.
